Massage Therapy Announcement

The Balance Team is delighted to announce that Alison Bulow is expecting her first child!

As you all may know by now, she will start her leave on September 1, 2018.  We are sad to see her go but happy to say that she will return to our clinic in the spring of 2019.  We wish her and her family all the best during this exciting time!

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome back one of our original team members:

Tia Harvey-White, Adv. RMT, LPN

Tia received her diploma as an Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in 2006.  She worked with our team from graduation up until she moved to Edmonton in 2007.  During her time away she not only added to her training, experience, and education, she also got married and expanded her family.  Now she’s ready to bring it all back home.  At the time we were very sad to see her leave and now we are so very happy to welcome her back to Winnipeg and back to our team!

Tia completed the Practical Nurse program at Norquest College in 2010 and worked in both acute care and home care for 7 years.  In 2017, she also completed both the Dynamic Cupping Massage Certification as well as the Devon Foot Care Advanced Foot Care Certification.  She has worked in spas and clinics and also ran a home based massage/nursing business.

Tia’s massage therapy focus is mainly deep tissue massage and treatment, dynamic cupping, sports rehabilitation, education, and injury prevention.  She will also be adding foot care services that focus on helping clients who have peripheral vascular disease as well as for clients who can no longer properly take care of their feet.

Tia will be available for appointments starting September 4, 2018.  You may contact the clinic at any time to set up an appointment with her.

For any inquiries or to schedule your next appointment, please contact our office by phone (204) 254-1728 or email

Hope to see you soon!
