Health Insurance Benefits

In Manitoba, there are several benefit entitlements to make it easier to utilize private health services.

Extended Health Care insurance – Private or employer extended health insurance plans often provide significant benefits for many of the services we offer in our clinic, including: chiropractic, massage therapy, athletic therapy, acupuncture, and custom orthotics. We are able to bill the insurance company directly for chiropractic services. Check with your insurance company to find out what benefits you are entitled to.

Manitoba Public Insurance – You are covered for certain medical expenses related to motor vehicle accidents. If you’ve been involved in an accident, call MPI at (204) 985-700 to open a bodily injury claim and visit a health practitioner as soon as possible. In our office, we direct bill MPI for chiropractic and athletic therapy services. A medical prescription is not required.

Worker’s Compensation Board – If you are injured at work, you may be entitled to benefits. It is very important to report the injury to WCB and your employer as soon as possible. Visit your health care provider for an assessment and to begin the recovery process. We also direct bill WCB for chiropractic and athletic therapy services. Medical prescriptions are not required to utilize these services.

Manitoba Health – Chiropractic services are partially subsidized for Manitoba residents. Simply present your Manitoba Health card when you visit our office for your initial chiropractic assessment and we will do the rest.

RCMP/Canadian Forces/Veteran’s Affairs – Excellent benefits are available for members. We offer direct billing for chiropractic services. Please look into your plan details before booking an appointment to ensure that you will be covered.

Please inquire if you have any questions about insurance benefits and our services.
